What are credits?

Credits allow you to convert more files through File Converter's website each day. One credit allows you to convert one file, regardless of the file type or the size of the file. So you can easily choose a credit pack that's the right size for the number of conversions you want to do.

Please note that credits aren't compatible with the desktop app or the API (you can find out more about that on our Help page).

How long do credits last?

All credits are valid for a full year from the date you purchase them, so you can use them when you need them.

Can credits be used for large files, too?

Yes, you can use credits to convert files up to 2GB in size. One credit equals one file, whatever the file size.

Are the prices listed for a one-off purchase or an ongoing subscription?

The prices shown are for a single one-off credit pack. You aren't signing up for an ongoing subscription.

If I run out of credits, can I buy another pack?

Yes, you can easily purchase more credit packs at any time.

What currency are the listed prices in?

The credit pack prices that show $ are all USD.

Can I pay securely?

Of course! All payments are processed safely through our secure checkout system, which uses 128-bit SSL encryption.

What if there's a problem converting my file?

If your file conversion fails for any reason, then no credits will be deducted for that conversion. If you have difficulties converting any files, our dedicated customer service team will be happy to help. Simply drop them an email at info@file-converter.org.
